I found this article to be profoundly true and inspiring. It is what I have told my previous and present mentorees. No one can define your style and it can not be found in google searches, downloading other images found randomly on Pinterest or stealing from other artist. Look inside your creative mind (Which is the whole reason people/clients should be going to you) and pull from the core of your inner most thoughts to come up with spectacular ideas for each session. It doesn't have to be something outrageous or overdone. It could be as simple as a small rosebud behind the ear but if you captivate that person in the image in a way that conveys their beauty then my friend you have created an image worthy of being called art. And by worthy I mean if you see it as beautiful then you have done your job!
Please take a moment to read this article and bookmark it for future reference when you feel stagnant or having creative block. It will help remind you why this medium is what you want to be doing and why you fell in love with it to begin with.
